Andrew Engram

Andrew Engram is one of the founding members of Now Capital Advisors. He has an extensive background in financial consulting and has advised many companies through both the capital raise and M&A processes. He is a Registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC Member FINRA / SIPC, holding Series 79 and Series 63. He received his Master of Business Administration in Venture Capital & Private Equity from the University of California San Diego.
Prior to joining Now Capital Advisors Andrew worked at Shepherd Ventures. Andrew brings a dedicated analytical eye to the Now Capital Advisors team. He excels in solving complex business problems through data and strategy and is skilled in new venture finance, financial modeling, negotiation, operational strategy, and international project management.


John Curtin

John Curtin is one of the founding members of Now Capital Advisors. John offers diverse accounting and financial experience, with a proven track record in management, leadership, and a powerful growth mindset. He has consulted with over 40 companies in M&A transactions, raising startup capital, implementing ERP systems, managing banking relationships, and providing business-critical solutions. He graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Law.
As a serial entrepreneur, John has founded multiple companies including the Ghost Tribe Entertainment and Lazarus Technologies companies responsible for developing new industry-standard facial animation. Before founding Now Capital Advisors, John was responsible for managing and allocating over $2B in property investment funds for property developer. John describes himself as a capital allocator with a talent for simplifying the complexities of finance.

Katie BreitenBach

Katie serves as the Vice President of Now Capital Advisors. Trained in investment banking by JP Morgan and ING, Katie brings over twenty years of finance experience, offering skills in M&A, IPOs, private placements, strategy, advisory, fundraising, and cash management. Katie received Bachelor’s Degrees in International Business as well as Social Science from the University of California Berkeley.
She has served as the head of finance for multiple Silicon Valley venture capital-backed startups (three M&A and one IPO) and has recently been advising startups in the technology and life sciences industries. She has worked within Intuit’s small business group and has worked in social impact investing and grant implementations in the microfinance space as a partner with Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors and Grameen Bank. She has ample international experience, having been based in Europe, South America, and the Caribbean.

Qun Xu

Qun Xu is a multi-faceted finance executive with over a decade of experience in both Fortune 500 companies and startups. Qun specializes in strategy, finance, fundraising, and operations and has extensive experience advising early-stage startup CEOs and founders in the medical device and biotech industries.
Prior to joining Now Capital Advisors, Qun served as Vice President of Finance at an early-stage medical device company, managing its finance function and leading M&A and fundraising (seed and series A) activities. Passionate about working with entrepreneurs, Qun is active in the startup community, served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residents (EIR) and Board member at CONNECT, a startup incubator and is a member of BioCom Capital Development Committee.
Qun received her Bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Master’s degree in Economics from University of California, San Diego. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
